Bex is passionate about creating a space where people of all ages can share their experiences and feel heard. She sees her work as a privilege to journey alongside others as they continue to grow in their understanding of themselves and the world around them.
When she is not counselling she enjoys being creative with art, music and words, getting out into nature and spending good quality time with family and friends in her life.
She offers individual counselling based in Christchurch New Zealand.
She is a full member of the NZCCA. (New Zealand Christian Counsellors Association)

Individual counselling, Person-Centred Approach for adults and young adults
Creative and Play therapy for children
Bex works from a person-centred counselling approach foundation, which focuses on being a supported, client lead, open-ended counselling process. Depending on the need, she brings in aspects of creative therapies and various therapeutic approaches for both adults and children.
Bex has a special interested in working with children, however, she is also drawn towards the variety of general individual counselling, working alongside young adults and adults who require support as they journey through life's challenges such as anxiety, depression, change, grief and loss.
Meet Otis
Otis is Bex's Labradoodle dog. He sometimes joins in with counselling sessions when requested. To say he loves people would be an understatement, he loves to play and loves a good belly scratch. Please let Bex know if you'd like to have Otis visit during a session.
